Junior & Senior Programs
Junior Ice Package:
Skaters having passed through the Basic Skills program and are looking to enter the world of figure skating. These skaters have four ice sessions available to them each week. As a bridge program to get the skaters from practicing in a group environment under much supervision to practicing on their own, we provide 2 levels of group lessons covering the beginning elements for all three figure skating disciplines; Freestyle, Moves In the Field (this replaced school figures using circles – some of you might remember watching that portion of competitions on TV) is covered in the Freeskate group, and Ice Dance.
It is strongly recommended that each skater obtain a private coach at this time. Skaters will become USFS members and will test each level at a USFS test session when their coach deems them ready. Junior and Senior skaters have numerous options for competitions. Speak to your private coach about your goals.
Senior Ice Package:
Skaters that have passed the USFS Preliminary Freeskate level become Senior level skaters. They continue with 4 sessions a week. Senior level skaters have the opportunity to earn an ice show solo.
